Together, we make college possible

The Chemeketa Foundation provides student scholarships and assistance funds.

In 1973 a small group of dedicated community members joined together, offering small loans to student-parents trying to earn their degree. Forty years later, the Chemeketa Foundation has evolved to support hundreds of students each year through more than 120 unique scholarship funds and awards.

Our scholarships support:

• Students in specific programs like Nursing, Fire Science, Automotive
• Student-parents through child care scholarships
• First-generation college students, those who are the first in their family to attend college
• College Inside; a program for incarcerated students at the Oregon State Penitentiary
• Emergency student relief funds including the food pantry here on campus
